Official Match Day for all League games is Saturday every week.

Monday evening is to be a back-up day for matches.
(If you DO NOT play on the Saturday or on the Monday, then you forfeit the match and match fees)
Monday is the deadline for all scorecards to be submitted.

Saturday Match Times are as follows:
(12pm, 1:30pm, 3pm, 4:30pm, 6pm)
Remember to book your time and location/table for every game!
Each time-slot is on a first come first booked basis.
Always check the calendar for the day before booking anything!

Match Fee is 10 Euro per player per match every week.
All matches must be played and all fees given on the Saturday or Monday!

A match not played as per schedule is forfeit/void.
The player responsible forfeits the match and points.
They also receive a -6 point penalty deduction and are to
pay both players match fee for the week (20 Euro).
To avoid this penalty, make sure you turn up and play your match each week!
6.
Dresscode for all League Matches is a standard Pool polo or collar shirt.
7.
The League will have a perpetual Shield.
The name of each league winner will be engraved on this.
Players finishing 1st and 2nd will also receive trophies or engraved glass.
8.
There will be no cash payouts (players decision!)
The Leagues function is to rank the players over time.
The ranking system will be run over every 2 year period.
Rankings can then select the Irish LD's Blackball Teams.
Therefore, the funds taken in via the weekly match fees along with any league/team sponsorships,
including donations, will be mostly used to subsidise the players and team costs in this category.

Any player who is in arears with entry/admission/match fees or other will prevent them from being able to claim any prizes or funds allocated.
10.
Depending on entries, you can play everyone once or twice in the Division.
You are awarded 3 points for winning a match.
In the event of a draw, both players receive 1 point.
11.
Should 2 players finish with the same points, the places will be decided by by head to head results and then by frame count.
12. Players lag before each match to decide who breaks. Breaks then alternate throughout the match.
13. Each League match will consist of 8 frames.
First player to reach 5 frames wins the match.
The match can also result in a 4-4 draw.
Once a player reaches 5 then the match is over, you don't play out the remaining frames.
14.
All Players are required to conduct themselves in a respectful and sporting manner at all times.
15.
In order to qualify for selection on the Irish Team you may be required to provide official documentation
which complies with the specific crtieras for this category which are set out by the International Governing Body.
